Houston Texans- Experts Predict 8 wins
Last year the Texans was everyone’s surprise pick for a playoff run, they finished the season at 7-9. The Texans record would have been better if quarterback Matt Schaub would have played all 16 games, but this is the NFL and injuries do happen. If Schaub can stay healthy this year, these Texans may just have the fire power to get into the playoffs. Houston is deep at WR with Pro Bowler Andre Johnson, Andre Davis, and Kevin Walter. I would expect to see some more of the wild cat formation in the Texans play book this year with RB Steve Slaton as well. On the other side of the ball they have some playmakers and they are all young. Their defense was middle of the road last year, and this year I expect them to become a top 12 defense this year. In terms of schedules Houston gets a break by not playing in any cold weather in the months of November and December, but do catch the Cardinals and the 49ers off their byes. I say they go over the number with a shot at making the playoffs.
